There was some additional excitement this week at the Almighty offices, as the Good Form Running Experience we developed this year for New Balance was honored with three trophies at the 2011 MITX Awards, namely Best Use of Applied Technology, Best Use of Insights and Best in Show. This, of course, was in addition to MITX naming New Balance the 2011 Digital Marketer of the Year. Much revelry ensued.
Those of us who had the opportunity to work on the Good Form project are certainly flattered by the attention it has garnered, although — as is often true of award-winning work — we've already long moved-on from that iteration in pursuit of a new one. More on that to come.
In the meantime, we've unearthed this video of Technology Director Jeff Wilder and Developer Corey Aubuchon walking through a staged prototype in our offices during the week preceding the Boston Marathon (where the experience debuted). Enjoy it as a document of what we had set out to do with this ambitious project, and as a look at award-winning work in a rather naked state.
