Communications Strategist
Almighty is seeking a Communications Strategist to join us full-time in our Boston offices. This role touches nearly every part of our business, and plays a significant role in informing and shaping the full breadth of the work we create.
As part of our research and strategy team, you will be uncovering insights that lead to useful, actionable briefs. You will be responsible for participating in discovery processes and stakeholder interviews that inform great content and experiences. You will play a role in architecting programs that make smart, insightful use of social channels. You will work hand-in-hand with our technology, UX and creative teams. As we try things as an agency that we've never done before, you will too.
A great candidate would get excited by the chance to:
- Explain ideas about the use of social platforms and tools in ways that add clarity, not jargon, to conversations
- Combine existing tools in new ways
- Stay informed about consumer trends and the way that they inform relationships and experiences with our clients
- Feel comfortable asking tough questions that lead to killer insights
- Present ideas and information in ways that best communicate them to our internal teams and clients
- Create personas, use cases and other documents that help us make better stuff
- Present their insights, both internally and externally
- Learn something every day from teammates
- Work without a net
Exceptional candidates will:
- Be able to point to something they themselves have made (a blog, a tool, a scarf, etc...) and explain the what and the why
- Have a story
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in strategy or research capacity (or equivalent experience that you can use to convince us is even better)
- Hands-on experience with research / data tools
- Excellent problem solving skills and a love for content challenges
- Able to investigate the granular then use the details to inspire broader strategic conclusions
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects
This job is full-time on-site at our Boston offices. We are not entertaining freelance or remote arrangements at this time.
